My favorite meat and three in Anderson. Breakfast is also delicious! Locally owned for over 50 years!! Friendly staff and prices comparable to the a fast food lunch but you get fresh veggies and homemade cornbread!!
All I can say is welcome home!!! Grandma is in back making more biscuits, Papa has the coffee brewing, and Momma made your favorite breakfast!!! Let's eat!!! My husband & I stopped in for a quick bite, and knew we were in the right spot as soon as our plates hit the table - garnished with fat back!!! The food was amazing, and truthfully did taste just like Momma made it - and my Momma can cook!!! Y'all come out and try this place, and ask for Crystal...she was the best waitress. Our coffee stayed hot and full. We will definitely be back!!!
Good food , good service and really what more could you want from a restaraunt . The owner is awesome as well . The pie is well priced and to die for . Real good home cooking I will be back . Yes they stayed open during the pandemic and were concerned about their customers and for that reason also i will continue to support them .
Good food, good prices, what more could you want? The food isn't 5-star amazing, as it could be enhanced with some flavor. That being said, they are fast and consistent. And we appreciate that they stayed open through the pandemic so we will continue to support them.
I finally had the opportunity to taste their meat & three during this (unfortunate) pandemic season. Both of us enjoyed the beef tips on rice. We took our 'takeout' to a nearby park, parked to the side and dug in. A real comfort in these unfortunate times.
I wish I had taken pictures of all that I ordered. As usual, I overindulged but every bite was worth it. Everything (egg, French toast, biscuit and gravy) were all fantastic. Nice that I have a real kitchen breakfast spot in Anderson!
Love this place it's always packed!! And there is no surprise why. This is my go to place if I'm working the area for lunch. I've never been disappointed. Have had several different meals here and all of them have been very good! Even the desserts are phenomenal, speaking of phenomenal so is the price for the amount of food you get. The staff from the moment you walk in the door till you get to the table are just wonderful. Every single person that has waited on me here has been happy smiling and seems to enjoy their job. If you're in the area you definitely need to give this place a try good southern home cooking at its best.
Service was exceptional. Our drinks were constantly filled. Spent $22 for two people. The food was good, just really wish they didn't fry their bacon so hard.
